Most producers can make your song sound great. Very few can tell you if it's ready — and what to do if it isn't. That's the difference. I've spent decades inside the music industry learning exactly what separates artists who break through from those who don't. That's what I bring to every artist I work with.
This isn't a course or a template. It's a hands-on partnership — and the right fit matters more than anything else.
You're putting in real work, but streams aren't building and your audience isn't responding the way you imagined.
You know what you feel, but translating that into a cohesive sonic identity has been elusive.
Not a side project. You want a real plan, a real partner, and a real path forward.
Not an algorithm or a YouTube rabbit hole. A real industry partner who has been inside the rooms you're trying to reach.
Label-quality production built around your sound — every element intentional, every track a statement.
A 6-month development partnership built to create sustainable momentum and real career growth.
A sustained partnership built around a full artist development cycle. Not month-to-month — this is a long-term engagement.
Before I began developing independent artists, I spent more than two decades immersed in the music business — writing on Music Row, touring, learning the inner workings of the label system, and eventually co-founding — and later selling — an independent record label and publishing company where I led A&R and publishing. Those experiences taught me not only how to make records, but how to navigate the business behind them. Having sat at the A&R table, I know exactly what labels are listening for — and what they'll pass on. I bring that filter to every artist I work with. Today, I help artists create music that connects, build sustainable careers, and avoid many of the costly mistakes that slow long-term growth.
A selection of productions, songwriting credits, and artist development work — across CCM, worship, country, and pop.
Jay co-wrote and produced "Jesus I Will Worship You" for Selah, and the response has been remarkable. I've consistently watched him be the architect in the room — building the track, helping craft the song, and keeping everyone on message. This is the rare developer who can write it, produce it, and help you build a career around it.
Working with Jay has been one of the most meaningful collaborations of my career thus far! His writing and production have been invaluable to me, and I've so enjoyed the process working in the studio with him. I'd recommend him to any artist looking to refine and polish their sound.
Jay came alongside me at a pivotal moment. Working with him led to "Something Worth Singing About" — nearly 10 million streams. He invests in every project as if it were his own. When you work with Jay, you're not just getting a producer — you're gaining a mentor, an advocate, and a genuine friend.

Don't spend money on a producer, studio time, or marketing unless your song can pass these five strict industry tests. The same filter I use on every song that lands on my desk.

Every element intentional. Every track a statement. I don't just produce records — I help you build a body of work that positions you for a long career.
Every production starts with a deep evaluation of your song. If it needs work before we track, we address that first. No amount of production fixes a weak song.
From concept to final mix-ready session. I handle arrangement, tracking, programming, and vocal production — building around your unique artistic identity.
If your song needs a co-write, I bring two decades of pro writing experience into the room.
Having sat on both sides of the table, I evaluate every record the way a label would — and I give you honest feedback about what's ready and what isn't.

Most artists don't fail because they lack talent. They fail because they don't have a structure, a plan, or anyone in their corner who knows how to build a career in today's market. The Roadmap changes that.

You're releasing. You're gaining traction. What you need now isn't a course or a consultant — you need someone in your corner who's been on both sides of the table and can help you scale what's already working.
This isn't a month-to-month service — it's a sustained partnership built around a full artist development cycle. I take on a limited number of advisory clients at a time, and I'm selective about who I work with, because this only works when both parties are fully committed. You bring the momentum. I bring the strategy, relationships, and 25 years of real world music industry experience.
In practice, this looks like bi-weekly strategy calls, direct access between sessions when decisions need to be made, and a partner who knows your music, your brand, and your goals well enough to give you real-time guidance — not generic advice. Every month builds on the last. The relationship compounds.
A comprehensive review of where you are, what's working, what isn't, and where the highest-leverage opportunities exist.
Bi-weekly deep-dive sessions covering creative direction, release strategy, content, branding, and industry positioning.
This is a long-term engagement. Real career development doesn't happen in 90 days — consistent accountability over time is what compounds into meaningful momentum. Details are discussed on the intro call.
The Artist Advisory is a monthly retainer engagement with a minimum one-year commitment. This structure exists because real development takes time, and I only take on clients I'm fully committed to. Investment details are discussed on the intro call — start with the assessment.
