Built for artists who know they're made for more.

Most producers can make your song sound great. Very few can tell you if it's ready — and what to do if it isn't. That's the difference. I've spent decades inside the music industry learning exactly what separates artists who break through from those who don't. That's what I bring to every artist I work with.

Free, 2-minute assessment — no pressure, just an honest answer.

Who This Is For

Serious artist development for serious artists.

This isn't a course or a template. It's a hands-on partnership — and the right fit matters more than anything else.

You're releasing but not growing

You're putting in real work, but streams aren't building and your audience isn't responding the way you imagined.

Your sound isn't fully defined

You know what you feel, but translating that into a cohesive sonic identity has been elusive.

You're ready to treat this like a career

Not a side project. You want a real plan, a real partner, and a real path forward.

You want a veteran in your corner

Not an algorithm or a YouTube rabbit hole. A real industry partner who has been inside the rooms you're trying to reach.

The Pathways

Two ways to work together.

Music Production

Best if: You have songs ready and want them produced at the highest level.

Label-quality production built around your sound — every element intentional, every track a statement.

The Artist Roadmap

Best if: You've got the talent, vision and drive, but need a plan.

A 9-month development partnership built to create sustainable momentum and real career growth.

Jay Speight
About Jay

I've sat at the A&R table. Now I'm in your corner.

Before I began developing independent artists, I spent more than two decades immersed in the music business — writing on Music Row, touring, learning the inner workings of the label system, and eventually co-founding — and later selling — an independent record label and publishing company where I led A&R and publishing. Those experiences taught me not only how to make records, but how to navigate the business behind them. Having sat at the A&R table, I know exactly what labels are listening for — and what they'll pass on. I bring that filter to every artist I work with. Today, I help artists create music that connects, build sustainable careers, and avoid many of the costly mistakes that slow long-term growth.

The 5 Pillars of a Commercial Song

Don't spend money on a producer, studio time, or marketing unless your song can pass these five strict industry tests. The same filter I use on every song that lands on my desk.

Songwriting Collaboration

If your song needs a co-write, I bring two decades of pro writing experience into the room.

The Artist Roadmap

A 9-month plan to build a career that lasts.

Most artists don't fail because they lack talent. They fail because they don't have a structure, a plan, or anyone in their corner who knows how to build a career in today's market. The Roadmap changes that.

Starting at $750/month

A&R and Project Prep

Song list, budget, and sonic brand finalized — plus creative director sessions covering visual brand, content shoots, and packaging/marketing delivery.

Investment

Built for serious artists.

Starting at $750/month — a 9-month program, which is the runway we've found it takes for real, compounding progress. We build in two checkpoints along the way: at Month 1, to confirm the partnership is the right fit on both sides, and again at Month 4, to reassess goals and trajectory together. If at either point it's not working for either of us, we part ways — no hard feelings, no wasted time or money.
